Duncan Jones and the gang began principal photography on his next film MUTE in Berlin this morning, a beginning inspired by Japanese comedian, television personality, actor, Director and author Takeshi Kitano.
“I think I read an interview with Takeshi Kitano where he said that every story should start and end with water. Doing my bit.”
“If you look very closely, you’ll see a wardrobe boat in the back ground here. Film making is a funny old business!”
Duncan completed his sneak peak into the first day with a rather stark style change to what we’re used to. Hinting at a cameo from the Director himself?
